Yeah, Khiladi Kumar Akshay and hot hunk Johan Abraham will come together for directorial debut of Rohit Dhawan. Remember their 'Garam Masala' days? Well won't it be fun to see them together again....?

Tentatively titled �Desi Boys�, the film will be bannered under Eros, our birdies found. In this our Action King will be paired up with a hottie, who steps into the commercial cinema for the first time� And she is Chitrangada Singh - the beauty who garnered much attention for her role in �Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi�!

Hmm now this jodi is something to look forth our birdies chirp� However, while Akki and John are on the project, other things still are yet to be finalised and a confirmation is awaited from the director�s side.

Here is a list of 10 movies to look forward to in 2012

• Number 10 - Student of the Year – For the first time ever, a Karan Johar directed movie wont star Shahrukh Khan as the main protagonist. Instead it will feature 3 newcomers – Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Co-produced by Karan and SRK (Red Chillies Entertainment banner), Student of the year will be a romantic comedy with music by Vishal – Shekhar. This will be a true test for Karan who has so far only worked with established superstars. Student of the Year Release Date: Mid 2012.
• Number 9 – Kya Kool Hai Hum 2 – The first part in the series directed by Sangeeth Sivan was one of the biggest hits of 2005 and Ekta Kapoor is keen on building the film into a Franchise, something that the makers of Golmaal and Dhamaal series have successfully done. Tusshar Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh will remain a part of the starcast, Neha Dhupia and Isha Koppikar have been replaced by Bipasha Basu and Angela Jonsson. Kya Kool Hai Hum 2 Release Date: April 6th 2012.
• Number 8 – Barfee – After a disastrous outing with Kites, director Anurag Basu returns with a murder mystery starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and south Indian actress Ileana D’Cruz. Sources say, Ranbir’s character in the movie is deaf and dumb. This will be the first biggie of 2012. Barfee Release Date: January 12th 2012.
• Number 7 – Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2 – The sequel to one of the best movies of 2010, several changes have been made to OUATIM  2. None of the main actors will be a part of the sequel to be once again directed by Milan Luthria. Akshay Kumar plays the role of Dawood Ibrahim (played by Emraan Hashmi in the prequel) and Sonakshi Sinha will be his love interest. Illeana D’Cruz from down south is also a part of the film. Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2 Release Date: August 17th 2012.
• Number 6 - Housefull 2 – Directed by Sajid Khan, Housefull was one of the Top 5 grossers of 2010. The second part in the series will have a combination of actors who were already a part of the first film and a few new faces. Asin, Zarine Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez are the new leading ladies while Kapoor brothers Rishi and Randhir are also a part of the film. Suresh Raina and cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni are rumoured to make special apperances. That’s not all, Rani Mukherji has an item number! Sajid sure has loads of surprises in store when Housefull 2 releases worldwide a week after IPL 5 on 1st June 2012.
• Number 5 – The Act of Murder – An Aamir Khan film! Do we need any other reason to watch a film? Every film that Aamir does is special and The Act of Murder (tentatively titled) directed by Reema Tyagi will be his first after the humongous success of 3 Idiots (Dhobi Ghat was an experimental art film). For company Aamir has two of the most talented leading ladies in Bollywood – Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherji. The Act of Murder Release Date: January 21st 2012.
• Number 4 – Ek Tha Tiger – Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif return with a Yashraj Film directed by Kabir Khan (New York, Kabul Express). Little is known about the film apart from the fact that it’ll be a romantic thriller. And yes, the release date too. Ek Tha Tiger will clash with Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 2, in what will be the clash of the superstars! Ek Tha Tiger Release Date: June 1st 2012.
• Number 3 – Krrish 2 – Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan together never fail! Together, they have delivered blockbusters like Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish. The sequel to India’s first commercial superhero film promises to be bigger and better! The Roshan’s supposedly are leaving no stone un-turned to make this the biggest superhero film that India has ever witnessed. Krrish 3 Release Date: Fall 2012.
• Number 2 – Dhoom 3 – The Dhoom series is the most successful franchise in Bollywood and Dhoom 2 remains one of the biggest money-spinners ever. For the third part, we have arguably the most successful actor in Bollywood today Aamir Khan and this one is releasing during Christmas. The 300 crore mark could be breached for the very first time.
• Number 1 – An Yash Chopra movie after 8 years starring the King of Romance – SRK,  the most popular actress in our industry today Katrina Kaif and teen-sensation Anushka Sharma. The music is composed by Oscar winning music composer AR Rahman and the lyrics will be penned by another Academy award winner Gulzar. If this isn’t the biggest movie of the year, then what is?

Salman postpones trip to USA

Sallu was to go abroad for medical treatment on Saturday, but we hear he will have to wait for a few more days

After suffering for seven long years, Salman Khan had finally decided to take off to the USA to get the required treatment for his jaw – even though this would have meant that for the first time in many years, he would not have been with his family during Eid and the Ganpati festival. However, Nature has intervened. Sallu has been forced to postpone his trip due to Hurricane Irene that has hit America’s East coast. Irene has brought major cities like New York, Washington DC and Philadelphia to a standstill and has flooded other towns in Virginia. With Hurricane Irene showing no signs of abating, Salman has decided not to fly to the US right now. Instead, he will focus on his professional commitments and continue to promote Bodyguard as planned. Since Salman’s ailment is not a fatal one, we are guessing he can afford to wait a few more days.
Being a smoker, Salman was initially worried that it could have been mouth cancer, but much to his relief it turned out to be trigeminal neuralgia (commonly known as suicide disease, a disorder of the nerves). We wonder why Salman has been suffering silently all these years and why he waited this long to consult a doctor. Was his machismo coming in the way or was it sheer neglect? Anyway, we just hope he gets the treatment done and comes back home hale and hearty.

MasterChef Australia host Matt Preston heaps praise on B-towners Arbaaz Khan, Rajkumar Gupta and Aamir Khan

Even though television show Masterchef India was no great success, the Australian version is very popular in India and wherever else it is telecast. Part of that success is because of the matter-of-fact manner that the hosts display, even if something one of the contestants cooks is a resounding success or a thumping failure. There is no band-baaja to announce any high or low points, and no confetti except in the end, no starry visitors unless they are chefs and no drama with families coming in to visit, etc etc. The show is about food, with cooking as the main character, and the hosts being serious with a veneer of fun rather than the other way around. Matt Preston, with his cravats and his almost-English accent, is the man who brings that heavy note in, since he is most formally dressed and most correctly spoken – of course, his largeness also adds to that stern image! But we were nicely surprised to learn that he has a passion for all things nice and spicy, especially if it has an Indian flavour. Every time he visits this country he tucks happily into street food, from pav bhaji to jalebis, and enjoys every bite. And Bollywood is also a very interesting dish to this genial gent – he met Malaika Arora-Khan and hubby Arbaaz, who Preston believes is a “big producer”, and Rajkumar Gupta who made “a good film” No One Killed Jessica. But the highlight of any Bollywood experience that the chef-man has had is when he watched 3 Idiots. He thinks Aamir is “amazing, a superstar! I’m surprised he’s not in Hollywood because he has an amazing way with him. Really impressive,” he told a publication recently. Hey Aamir, maybe this is a good time to cook up something international, since you have the fan club already?

What could be better than a long drive during the monsoons in a Range Rover with Kareena Kapoor? She comes across someone who has no starry tantrums and is very warm and friendly.
She was in Ahmedabad to promote her new film Bodyguard with Salman Khan. She inquires about the new things in the city and it feels like one is chatting with a new friend who was trying to know more about the city and not someone who is Bollywood's top heroine.
The talks gradually shift to her upcoming film Bodyguard where Kareena plays the character of Diya. Though her last two films with Salman didn't work, she is sure the tables will turn this time. ""In the past, our scripts let us down. While for my current film, our chemistry comes alive as it is based on romance. Audience have also not seen Salman in this avatar since long romantic hero. This film is a package of action, comedy and romance. I feel a script and character are important to make a film successful,"" she says.
Personally, Kareena hates to be surrounded with bodyguards. ""I don't mind having one, only if Salman agrees to be my bodyguard. Which girl would say no to him?"" she laughs.In reel and real life, Kareena is fashionable yet traditional. How does she strike a balance between the two? ""In the film, I had to maintain the Indian look and yet look fun and vivacious at the same time. Personally, I love to wear casual clothes as I am more comfortable in them,"" says this fashion icon who loves to shop only from abroad.
Not just films, Kareena is also ruling the commercial world. Today she is seen in a lot of commercials with Saif Ali Khan. ""I have been seen in the same brands that I am doing since years. Saif and I are seen together now as the brand owners have signed us together, it isn't something that we are promoting as a couple. I try and do whatever I can do special and different to stand out from the rest. I have worked hard and finally it is paying off,"" says Kareena.
If you are someone who wants to know more about Kareena, then she says that she has been busy with work since four to five years and has hardly got any time for herself. ""I haven't got the time to think about what I like to do,"" says Kareena on a parting note.
